Prophet 21 Data Migration Services
Clean, validated data migration into Epicor Prophet 21 from legacy ERP, AS/400, and spreadsheet-based systems. DESSS ensures zero data loss and full reconciliation sign-off.
Bad data in, bad data out. The most common reason Prophet 21 implementations underperform in the first year is not configuration — it's dirty, incomplete, or incorrectly mapped data that corrupts purchasing decisions, pricing accuracy, and financial reporting from day one.
Data migration into Prophet 21 is not a technical task you can hand off to your IT team, nor is it a data export. It requires deep P21 data structure knowledge, distribution domain expertise, and a validation process that catches problems before they reach your production environment.
What DESSS P21 Data Migration Covers
Legacy System Extraction
Structured extraction from your current ERP — whether that's a legacy AS/400 system, an older ERP platform, Sage, Infor, NetSuite, or a hybrid of ERP and spreadsheets. We work with whatever format your data is in.
Data Normalization & Cleansing
Before any record enters P21, it's validated: duplicate customers merged, item master inconsistencies corrected, vendor records standardized, pricing tables validated against your contract structure, and stale records flagged for archival.
P21 Data Mapping
Your legacy data structures mapped to P21 tables — items, customers, vendors, pricing, open orders, AR/AP balances, inventory quantities, and historical transactions — with full documentation of every mapping decision.
Test Migration Loads
Multiple test loads in a P21 sandbox environment, with your team validating data accuracy in the system before production migration is approved.
Production Migration & Reconciliation Sign-Off
Production migration executed with full reconciliation — AR/AP balances, inventory quantities, open orders, and pricing validated against source records before go-live approval.
Post-Migration Support
Data issues that surface post-go-live — and they always do — are resolved by the same team that performed the migration, with full knowledge of your data history.
