Epicor Prophet 21 Consulting Services for Wholesale Distributors
DESSS helps wholesale distributors turn Epicor Prophet 21 into a practical operating platform for inventory, orders, finance, customer relationships, analytics, and connected workflows. Whether you need a fresh rollout, a rescue project, a module expansion, or a modernization roadmap, our consultants align Prophet 21 with the way your branches, sales teams, buyers, warehouse staff, finance users, and leadership actually work.
Our Epicor Prophet 21 consulting services are built for organizations that need better visibility across supply chain activity, stronger financial control, faster order processing, reliable reporting, and fewer manual handoffs. We support distributors seeking to reduce friction among purchasing, warehouse operations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer service, and sales.
Why Businesses Choose DESSS for Prophet 21 Consulting Services
We focus on business outcomes, not generic ERP activity lists. Our team first helps define what success looks like: better fill rates, cleaner item master data, faster month-end close, improved rebate tracking, stronger branch reporting, fewer duplicate tasks, more useful dashboards, and smoother integration between Prophet 21 and surrounding platforms. From discovery through post-go-live support, we help you move from patchwork processes to a more reliable distribution operating model.
OUR SERVICES
Strategic Prophet 21 Consulting Company for Wholesale Distribution Excellence
Supply Chain Management (SCM) Services
Our SCM consulting services help distributors improve purchasing, inventory flow, branch coordination, demand visibility, warehouse execution, supplier responsiveness, and customer fulfillment. We review replenishment logic, item and branch settings, lot and traceability requirements, transfer patterns, and stocking strategies so Prophet 21 supports day-to-day execution instead of slowing it down. The goal is a cleaner flow from demand signals to purchasing decisions to warehouse action.
Financial Management Services
We design and optimize Prophet 21 financial workflows around general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor rebates, sales tax processes, dimensional reporting, and period-close readiness. Our consultants help finance teams reduce manual work, improve data integrity, and build reporting that gives leadership a current picture of profitability, receivables, payables, and business performance by branch, rep, customer segment, project, or order type.
Sales and CRM Services
Sales teams need more than customer records. We help configure Prophet 21 to support customer-specific pricing, sales history visibility, opportunity tracking, account activity, and coordinated handoffs between inside sales, counter sales, customer service, and leadership. Our work helps teams respond faster, price more accurately, and serve customers with better context.
Analytics and Reporting Services
Reporting only matters when it drives action. DESSS designs operational and executive reporting around the KPIs wholesale distributors actually use: inventory turns, fill rate, backorders, gross margin, overdue receivables, vendor performance, sales by rep, order mix, branch profitability, and trend analysis. We provide Prophet 21 dashboard design, report rationalization, SQL-based reporting support, and downstream business intelligence integrations for Power BI and other analytics platforms.
Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) Services
For distributors balancing multiple locations, regional inventory, transfers, and changing demand patterns, DRP configuration can make a measurable difference. We help set planning rules, stocking policies, replenishment strategies, and exception visibility so Prophet 21 supports branch-level and network-level inventory decisions. This improves service levels while helping reduce avoidable overstock and emergency buying.
Electronic Content Management (ECM) Services
Manual document handling slows finance and operations. DESSS helps extend Prophet 21 workflows with ECM-oriented document capture, routing, indexing, approval, and retrieval strategies for invoices, vendor documents, proofs, supporting files, and other process records. This is especially useful for AP workflows, approval visibility, audit readiness, and remote access to operational documents.

IN FOCUS
Integration, Reporting, and Modernization
Many distributors need Prophet 21 to work cleanly with adjacent systems such as eCommerce storefronts, CRM tools, document workflows, cloud reporting platforms, warehouse technology, and custom applications. DESSS supports integration architecture, API usage, data mapping, validation rules, and operational exception handling so the connected ecosystem remains usable. We also help organizations modernize older reports, remove duplicate spreadsheets, and build a phased roadmap for upgrades, cloud initiatives, and digital process improvement.
WHAT WE DELIVER
Industries We Support
Our Prophet 21 consulting services fit distributors in industrial supply, electrical, fasteners, fluid power, HVAC, medical supply, safety, plumbing, paper and packaging, PVF, and adjacent wholesale distribution models. We tailor workflows to industry-specific needs such as lot traceability, branch transfers, customer pricing rules, complex rebates, project-based orders, and service-level expectations.
Why Upgrade or Optimize Prophet 21 Now
Delaying optimization usually means more spreadsheets, more manual document chasing, more exception handling, and less confidence in reporting. A focused Prophet 21 consulting engagement helps you identify what should be standardized, what should be automated, what should be reported differently, and where operational friction is costing time or margin. That work creates better user adoption and clearer business visibility.
