Global Shop GAB Services — Custom Workflows and Automation for Manufacturers

We modify your existing Global Shop ERP screens to match how your team actually works — adding or removing fields, combining data from multiple screens into a single view, and configuring user-specific layouts. This reduces clicks, cuts training time, and improves daily efficiency on the shop floor and in the office.

Beyond screen tweaks, our developers build entirely new applications inside your ERP using GAB's RAD language. These custom applications extend your system's functionality without affecting core Global Shop Solutions code — meaning your customizations survive future upgrades.

We design specialized reports that go beyond standard ERP outputs and configure them to run automatically at set intervals. From production summaries to financial breakdowns, your team gets the right data, delivered on schedule, without manual pulls.

We design dashboards focused on the KPIs that actually matter to your operation — pulling live numbers from your ERP and, where useful, layering in outside industry benchmarks for context. Track things like on-time delivery and job costing accuracy in one visual, real-time view instead of digging through separate reports.

We connect your ERP to third-party systems and automate the flow of data in and out — using standard protocols like ODBC and XML for reliable, maintainable connections. This reduces manual entry and keeps every department synced. Custom workflows route information, tasks, and approvals exactly the way your business requires. We can also configure GAB to interact with Ethernet- or serial-connected shop floor machines and SCADA packages for direct machine-to-ERP data flow.

For businesses with needs that standard modules don't cover, we build entirely new subsystems that integrate natively with your Global Shop Solutions ERP — extending functionality while staying fully compatible with the base system.

We configure GAB to integrate with tools your team already uses — including Microsoft Office and other business software — so data moves seamlessly between your ERP and everyday work applications.

We set up user-defined workflows and role-based security within GAB, ensuring the right people see the right data — protecting sensitive information while keeping operations efficient.

Beyond building customizations, we help you tap into the broader GAB ecosystem — including pre-built applications and reports available through Global Shop Solutions' ARC Store — and provide ongoing support to maintain and evolve your customizations as your business grows.
